* Sunset Café: Open-air restaurant set above sea, with view of Anguilla. Seating on wood-floor veranda shaded by striped awning. American-style breakfast. Lunch specials such as vol au vent with shrimp and asparagus, marinated tuna salad, fillet of beef in mustard sauce. Also, appetizers, salads, pasta, sandwiches, seafood, ribs, steaks. * At the resort's front, a blunt promontory separates two beaches. One is a shallow 1.5-km (1-mi) strip washed by the Caribbean Sea to the resort's seawall, above which are cushioned lounge chairs under thatched shades and seagrape trees. The other is a deeper, 200-m (219-yd) stretch furnished with lounge chairs and umbrellas that also includes an area with hammocks and cushioned lounge chairs. Atop the promontory is a 9-by-3.75-m (29-by-12-ft) pool with a sea view from a 9.25-m (30-ft) bluff. |
