President Hotel was built in 1970 in order to satisfy the need of a land, Salento, that during thoose years was socially and economically evolving.
It soon became the first hotel in this area as far as all tourist services also aimed to organize conferences, business meetings, special events as fashion shows, exhibitions and cultural events.
The attention paid to culture in itself has brought the President Hotel to be enriched of many famous works of italian contemporary artists as : Schifano, Mimmo Rotella, Pignatelli, Dova, De Filippi.
In all this years the President Hotel has hosted a plenty of personages of politics, show, sport, as they preferred this hotel not only beacause of its ideal position, in the heart of the city, but also for its quality and style of hosting.
